@Osmanjcx0 !Hola Patricio, desde la Ciudad de México! (Hello Patrick, from Mexico City!)
Here is a photo of our two volcanos (Iztaccihuatl—The sleeping princess, and Popocatepetl—her grieving guardian, also the one blowing smoke) at dawn last week, taken from the front of our flat.
Saludos
@AmysGotBirds@_AnonHater_ Could not agree more, this gentleman (a title not used unthinkingly) understands the American creed much, much better than the vast majority of citizens.
Thank you for getting angry, and thanks for sharing!
@RafaelLaveagaR@ConsulMexAtl ¡Felicidades Embajador Laveaga, y Licenciada Sánchez, así como a todo su equipo por el valiosísimo trabajo que hacen todos los días.
Saludos
@WA98239@WalshFreedom And you probably cannot define “mass immigration enablers”. The case under discussion involves a U.S. citizen (and verterán to boot)!
@Bound_For_Mars @abymaelx The original text is correct in Portuguese: “blue cheese from cow’s milk”.
It does remind one of the purple cow poem, though…
It is such an emotional story.
A car of an internally displaced man from Donbas broke down in the center of Kyiv. In it, all his life was packed - his belongings, 18 chickens in cages, and a dog.
Originally from the Donetsk region, he moved to the Chernihiv region after he lost his wife, and after living there for four years, he decided to look for a new life in Uman.
The man's old car broke down on the way, and he ended up stranded in the capital. But thankfully, locals helped him, and the police towed the car to a service station.

In 2024, 47,000+ stateless people gained nationality. It’s the highest number in years, and proof that change is possible. UNHCR is working with governments around the world to close the gaps in nationality laws & #EndStatelessness for good.

This #WorldRefugeeDay is not business as usual.
Conflicts are escalating. Aid is shrinking. But one thing hasn’t changed: refugees need our solidarity to live in safety, with dignity and to rebuild their lives.
Let’s come together with refugees today and alwaysThis #WorldRefugeeDay is not business as usual.

@ClaudetteGGibs1@BlackKnight10k A prayer from Mexico City, in solidarity with your daughter, and also with you. For myself halfway through the treatment, but with family and friends it has been more than bearable—in fact the response has shown me that we are part of something bigger than ourselves.
Best
