Today, we distributed dignity kits to all the women at Star Boarding School in Nepal. 💜

These kits include essential hygiene and personal care items to help women and girls maintain their health and safety during this time of disaster and uncertainty. Support like this helps ensure their basic needs are met even amid ongoing hardship.

🇳🇵 Getting to work on constructing shower blocks for different communities in Nepal is one of our priorities. Star Boarding School in Nepal has had issues with drinking and bathing water, and we knew delivering them only water storage tanks and filtration systems wouldn’t be their only need. Our team is prepping the ground where the showers will be built. These will be all set up over the next couple of days and the community of Star Boarding School can finally enjoy both safe drinking water and bathing facilities!

🇳🇵 Our team dropped off essential hygiene and nutrition items to support the community at Trishuli Basic School in Nepal. We delivered hygiene kits, shampoo sachets, bathing soap, and sanitary pads to support the community. To help keep people nourished, we also handed over easy-cooking lentils and cooking oil. We are rapidly responding to the communities’ requests and will keep updating on the next distributions.

🇳🇵 Bringing clean, safe drinking water to Nepal’s local schools. 💧We visited Trishuli Primary School in the Kolony area to distribute and install brand-new water filtration systems, ensuring the community has reliable access to safe hydration throughout the day. We also visited Star Boarding School (DC), where our team conducted hands-on training on filter usage while setting up 6 filtration units paired with 10 water buckets. By combining the right tools with practical training, we are helping create healthier learning environments for everyone staying here.

🇳🇵 Update from Star Boarding School water shortage: families were facing a severe shortage of drinking and bathing water. As you might remember from a few days ago, we immediately provided water jugs but we knew we had to look for longer term solutions. That’s why drinking water stations and utility water supply systems are now all set up and running! These can hold up to 300L of water each, which will help provide enough water for the following 2-4 days. 💧

🎒 Getting children back to school is not the final step of recovery. It is one of the things that makes recovery possible. Following devastating floods in Nepal, thousands of kids have had their education disrupted. We’re launching a $5M campaign to rebuild 20 schools in Nepal.

🇳🇵 AH&H Jas' checking in from Nuwakot. For the past week our team has been non stop active on the ground delivering critical support. From providing essential supplies like food, clean water, hygiene kits, and electricity generators. As of today, our masons also started to build temporary WASH facilities in displacement centers. These spaces organically formed in the light of the recent events and many were lacking showers, toilets and handwash stations. We're rolling up our sleeves. 💪

🇳🇵 We delivered essential cleanup gear in Galchi rural municipality in Nepal, including 4 wheelbarrows, 6 shovels, 6 pairs of gumboots, 12 pairs of rubber gloves, and 2 boxes of masks to support the team as they clear away debris and create a safer environment for the community that is currently staying there.

🇳🇵 Nepal update: Survivors and displaced people across the disaster zone in Nepal are staying in makeshift shelters, places that were not originally designed to host so many people all at once.

The Star Boarding School has a main water line but the supply only runs for a few hours a day, far from enough to meet the current daily needs of the center. Rainwater collection helped get them through the day, but as the shelter has been filling up with 300 people that lost it all, needs were much higher so we had to act fast! Local supply plants were short on storage, so our team provided suitable containers, serving as temporary water storage.

We’ll keep delivering water and containers daily over the next couple of days until a reliable, sustainable water system is fully in place.

🇳🇵 Relief efforts continue in Ward 9, Bidur, Nuwakot. Essential medical and sanitation supplies including N95 masks, surgical gloves, latex gloves, and disinfectant were delivered to the Army troops base at Star Boarding School DC. In addition, critical aid was provided to 300 displaced community members, covering daily necessities such as food rations, personal hygiene items, and power supplies.

🎒Just in time for the new school year, we are distributing 100 "Classroom in a Box" kits across 31 schools, reaching nearly 24,000 students in Gaza! The boxes include exercise books, pens, teacher tools, crayons, learning posters and more.

These kits do more than restock classrooms, they give kids a sense of routine and the chance to keep learning despite unimaginable conditions.

🇳🇵 Today, our team in Nepal delivered safe drinking water jugs, flashlights, hygiene items, and cleaning supplies (such as laundry detergent and toilet cleaner) to people living in displacement centers across Bidur, Nuwakot (specifically the Ayurvedic, Chandrajyoti School, and Sundari Kyureni displacement centers). Most fled with little more than the clothes on their backs, these essentials are critical to making living conditions in the centers safer and more dignified. Our response continues.

🇳🇵 We delivered essential power supplies, including a generator, gasoline, extension cords, floodlights, and chargers, to ensure safety and basic electricity for 600 displaced community members currently staying at Bhairum Higher Secondary School DC in Ward #8 in Bidur, Nuwakot. We also distributed hygiene supplies (soap, shampoo, towels, toothbrushes, and toothpaste) alongside sports gear and coloring books for the children. The journey to recovery is just starting, but every delivery brings comfort and dignity back.

🇳🇵 Over 400 community members have lost their homes in the recent disaster in Nepal. We are responding directly to the Bidur, Ward 3 community’s specific requests by providing body bags, hand sanitizer, surgical gloves, and masks for the respectful management of the deceased. We also provided a generator, extension cords, multiple phone chargers, and external lighting for connectivity and safety, and are supplying essential food, clean water, and basic hygiene products to meet daily needs.

🇳🇵 Despite swept-away bridges and closed roads, our team has found ways to reach affected communities across Nepal. Following the recent flash floods, we’ve been on the ground supporting families through these difficult times, restoring power with generators and delivering essential supplies, from food to diapers and hygiene kits. We continue to evaluate needs in other regions to reach more communities as quickly as possible.

🇳🇵 On the ground in Bidur Ward #3, Nepal

It’s been 5 days since severe flooding impacted Nepal, and basic access has only recently been restored. Our team is actively supporting immediate relief efforts alongside local authorities and the Nepal Army in the region of Bidur. As community needs shift daily, we are addressing urgent health concerns and power outages by providing generators so displaced families have access to power, as well as distributing essential supplies for dignified management of the deceased to help handle the situation safely and respectfully while mitigating serious future health and disease risks.

Our team remains on the ground adapting to the community's most critical needs as recovery continues.
