@LittleEarthG1rl I completely agree. If a city can implement an efficient transit system, then public transportation really isn't a big deal. Plus it would provide people with spare time for themselves where they could read or listen to a podcast.

@LittleEarthG1rl This is outrageous. Segregation is a huge issue, bringing children into it is too much. Children should be raised without having to be separated as though they aren't good enough.

@LittleEarthG1rl I'm hoping future cities will find solutions to social solutions. The homeless population in many cities is awfully high. Its great that these new cities are being built, but we need to focus on lower class groups instead of only upper class.

@DohmEmerson I think it will negatively the economy. The thing I like about Montreal is that not all the stores are chains. The construction of this mall is most likely drive most ma and pop shops under.

@kar1614 Their strategies all seem flashy to me, focusing on the colour scheme isn't going to attract people. Besides, its all well and good to gain land by moving a slum, but where do they think those displaced people are gonna go?

@kar1614 Its true, cities are so dense, and with planners drawing in investors in order to make their city better, its inevitable that price go up. Which is why these commuter towns with easy transit maybe become essential

@kar1614 This is a crafty way to use unused building lots. Its nice that there's a way to supply people with homes while new ones are being built. Perhaps something of this nature could be implemented in Vancouver's Downtown East Side

@DohmEmerson This is so true, its not like the elimination of garbage men will pay for the trash shoots that replace them. Hopefully, as technology improves we can find ways to minimize the cost of it.

While I do think that its important to ensure that things are accessible to as many people as possible. Its unrealistic to think that if one location is better than another that people who are financially more secure won't cluster #newcitiesmcgill https://t.co/thBE7VS4L9
