The @UofSSwim swimmer touched home in 2:03.22 🔥

Katie Shanahan’s semi final 200m Backstroke swim was a new Scottish Record - 2:03.73 👏🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Her swim takes the mark away from teammate Kathleen Dawson, and means she is the first Scottish woman under 2:04 in the event 💪

She qualified 4th quickest for Saturday’s final despite ‘conserving energy’ during the race. Katie also chats ‘💪 positive mindset’ after her DQ in the 200m IM..
