Things I wish I knew at 18:
1. Nobody is coming to save you.
2. Consistency beats talent more often than people admit.
3. Most people are too busy worrying about themselves to judge you.
4. Learning how to communicate is a cheat code.
5. Your circle affects your future more than your plans.
6. Read more books.
7. Start before you're ready.
8. Protect your peace. Boundaries are self respect.

May the prayers, sacrifices, and unwavering love of our mothers continue to guide, protect, and uplift us today and always.
May their blessings remain with us now and forever. Leave a prayer for your mother.
@Allpluss Let’s start with those around us. Let’s avoid building a world of frustrated, perpetually dissatisfied, and fatalistic people. I have great admiration for those who love reading : their depth and open-mindedness are often evident. The difference is hard to miss. So, let’s wake up
@UrbanoKit A wake up call is actually needed. People need to be reminded about what reading has to offer and also create awareness on the dangers of idling the brain.
@Allpluss For sure! But if people truly realized what reading has to offer, it’d be amazing. Nowadays, it’s easier for someone to judge a text by its first sentence, even when it contains a thousand more. Our wake up call may be a harsh one
@Allpluss My personal view: impatience and comfort play a big role. Reading requires time, patience, and effort, while scrolling offers instant gratification. Our priorities have shifted elsewhere, which I find unfortunate. But it’s something we can work on and change.
