I ran through another round of asking the Wizards media pool about their thoughts on Bilal Coulibaly's summer of extension eligibility, and I learned a bit more about his perceived price range and the likelihood of a deal coming to over the coming months. My complete findings:
Hey Wiz fans! For the new @AllWizardsTalk episode, we did a draft to rank players who could take Washington's last roster spot after the Jamir Watkins injury. Bryson got emotional, as you can see.

Wizards wing Jamir Watkins underwent surgery today to repair a torn ACL in his left knee, a team source told @TheAthleticNBA. Watkins, who is on a two-way contract, suffered the injury during the Wizards’ NBA Summer League opener. He could miss the entire 2026-27 season.
Starting next week, the Anthony Davis extension rumors will take a step forward. The Wizards will be eligible to push an offer sheet forward, but one recent report should give the org something to chew on. The desperate Warriors were scared off - maybe there’s a lesson there👇
Same bit with the Russ rumors, if you want him as a no minutes de facto assistant, sure. Long time respected vet
But on court... Dawkins speaks highly of an egalitarian pass/dribble/shoot/guard mold of role players yet is linked to the antithesis of that, TWICE. Bad margins.
For the first time in a long time, Wizards fans can look forward to their guy entering a season as a likely Rookie of the Year favorite. The only catch: the draft class he entered the bigs with is loaded. Here are five other ROTY picks for AJ Dybantsa to keep in the rearview👇:

Trae Young believes in what the Wizards are building. Henry Brown from @AllWizardsTalk gives his thoughts from his press conference:

The future of the NBA is going to be riddled with do-it-all players off the bench. The problem is finding them, as they are a rare breed. Thankfully, the Wizards have that blue print in Will Riley, and he is forcing them to make him the sixth man this coming season. https://t.co/YrSaj3Wo8b
11 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals in 28 minutes for Kadary Richmond last night.
St. John's guard looking to establish himself with the Wizards as he was up and down from the G League last year. #sjubb#wizards
@WonzoTV Great point on Felix, it’s awesome when he recovers on an individual assignment to smack a shot off glass but that’s the kind of risky gamble that any pg/diving dumpoff big can beat, let alone anyone w numbers in the paint. Juju’s stock is low but he knows how to be a board horse
The Wizards are shutting down AJ Dybantsa and Will Riley to join Tre Johnson on Washington’s shelf, as @JoshuaBRobbins broke. This was a move that seemed pretty telegraphed based on years past and their individual dominance, but there are still others to watch from here on out👇:
