Militarization of Childhood Intensifies in Russia
The school year has begun in 🇷🇺. It will feature more military propaganda and fabricated history — even in kindergartens.
Here are some of the changes to the school and daycare curriculum starting this year:
🔴 From September 1, Russian schoolchildren will spend more time studying history and less on social studies ("Обществознание"). History is now taught from a textbook authored by former Culture Minister Vladimir #Medinsky, notorious for his distorted views of Russian history. As for Обществознание, literally, “knowledge about society,” it seems Russian schoolchildren don’t need that at all.
🔴 The discipline “Fundamentals of Spiritual and Moral Culture of the Peoples of Russia” has disappeared from the high school curriculum. It is replaced with “Spiritual and Moral Culture of Russia.” Apparently, there are no more “peoples” left — only one nation…
🔴 For the new school subject “Fundamentals of Safety and Defense of the Motherland,” schools are purchasing mock weapons, training grenades, and wound simulators.
‼️ In 2025, the Ministry of Education begins testing patriotic lessons called “Conversations about Important Things” among kindergarten children in 19 Russian regions. Previously, these classes were held only in schools. Starting next year, they will be conducted nationwide.
Some regions are going even further: in #Perm Krai, UAV (drone) centers will open in six kindergartens. Local authorities cited an instruction from #Putin: by 2026, children from the age of seven must be ready to compete in drone races. Such competitions have indeed already taken place.

Trump on Putin: "He speaks to me, he doesn't want to speak to anyone else." The fact he thinks this is something to brag about is an extraordinary indicator of both his worldview and his stupidity.
