I think one smart strategy is to discount certain collections vs doing a sitewide sale because the latter feels very BFCM vs the former feels like a special bonus sale that doesn’t take away from the BFCM novelty
Like I noticed Glossier has basically been doing these daily deals
Been seeing a lot of post BFCM sales in December and I have to say I’m into it
BFCM can get really overwhelming and it’s nice to see that there are still good deals after the dust has settled—especially because it allows me to space out my purchases a bit more
nobody will remember:
- your salary
- how “busy you were”
- how many hours you worked
people will remember:
- that you actually do run a sale every year even when you say “we never do this”
