When I was visiting the arctic on a trip the guide was checking the camera footage and photos every day and told us it was to make sure that there wasn't a polar bear in the background watching and waiting. I think about that often.

Generally when a polar bear wants you dead the first you'll know of it is when it sneaks into your camp while
