@thegoldenmuzzy It is crazy to think though that the Canadiens have already achieved this early in their program what Toronto couldn’t do in 9 years as far as getting past the second round. Mind boggling, really.
The Habs have lots to be proud of! 👏
When they get a second line center and some more physicality, they’ll have all the tools to be a Cup Contender for many years to come.
Plus this guy

C'est de l'apprentissage en or pour plusieurs jeunes et jeunes vétérans.
Bieksa spitting facts. Talking about all the failure Carolina went through for the last 7 years. Teams that win usually go through adversity before they reach the mountain top. Habs will be back.
Stop being rage baited by other fans or weirdos who are starving for engagement
The future is so bright its blinding
- Already got a goalie tandem
- Already got 4 pieces of your top 6
- Already have the asset for a solid bottom 6
- Already has a solid top 3 at the blue line
- Most of your core is locked up 4+ seasons
- Most took a deal so you have lots of cap space coming
- Most of them have yet to hit their prime & continue to progress every season
- Still have all draft assets
Yes a cup now would have been amazing, but I’m nothing but proud & excited

Impressive run by a young Montreal Canadiens team. Learned what it takes to win a pair of 7-game series and how far there is to go to take down a top team like Carolina. Can't buy that kind of experience. Jeff Gorton & Kent Hughes have them well positioned for years to come.
Let’s get one thing straight. 2010 and 2021 were Cinderella runs. 2014 was a win now peak type run. 2026 is a prelude as to what’s to come.
Every other ECF we’ve had over the past 15 years, the end meant something upsetting.
Montreal’s modern golden era has just began. I hope you all are as excited as I am. We’ll be back. And we’ll be back a lot stronger than we are now. Playtimes over.
The Canadiens had a great run, they electrified the city for the first time what seems like forever. The best part is, unlike some of the past playoff runs, this is a young team with its best days ahead. Improvements are necessary, but this is a good start.
Youngest team in the league made it to the final 4 and gassed out. Played two back to back grueling 7 game series with a handful of overtime’s and then ran into a great team that was well rested. Exceeded everyone’s expectations
Up to management now to fill the obvious holes
As mad as everyone is, this was a great season for Montreal. The future is bright, but the work isn’t done.
Improve the defensive structure by moving on from Robidas, add defensive help on the blue line, and find a legitimate 2C.
Kent Hughes has work to do.
I’m sleeping like a baby tonight. Multiple game 7 series wins on the road. ECF appearance. Youngest team in league. Top 10 prospect pool. Own all our picks. Core on long team friendly deals.
Last year they barely made it, couldn't handle the playoffs and lost in five.
This year they finished with 106 points. Finished 6th overall, won two game sevens against top five teams and couldn't handle the conference final.
This is progress. They're doing it the right way.
@DrakeMT It isn't cowering... They're exhausted, they don't have a second line, they don't have a lot of playoff experience... They reached their limit
This is all they had this year. It's only going to get better
Proud of my Habs!
106 pts
3rd in Atlantic
Beat TBL in 7, BUF in 7, reached ECF, youngest team in playoffs
Caufield 51 goals
Suzuki 101 pts
Hutson, Demidov, Slaf taking strides
Gutted we fell hard to the Canes, but full credit to them & their suffocating play
Future is bright🔥
