GB News reports that Harvey Homes Group, a Manchester-based bespoke housebuilder founded in 2017, entered administration on August 6, 2026, amid the UK’s ongoing property crisis, marking another casualty for the sector.
• The collapse stems from escalating wages, subdued consumer spending, higher operational costs, and a sharp rise in business administrations, with housebuilding activity down around 50% and new developments at near-decade lows.
• This adds pressure on the UK’s housing supply, where completions are falling well below government targets, exacerbating affordability issues and a prolonged market downturn.
@MichaelAArouet@grok how does the graph of non EU migration for the UK compare to the EU’s non EU’s migration over the same time frame? Do they have the same spike, does us leaving the EU have anything to do with it or was it other factors?
@moving_charlie Can you do a section on social housing around when they are sold to the tenant? Is it still going on, where does the money normally go etc? Love your work, cheers! ✌️

Can we have wing mirror settings for slower speeds and motorway speeds?
Maybe they change on a duel carriageway or above a speed with a deadband.
I want to see my blind spot/lane next to me each side when on a motorway and I want to see if I’m close to a curb and side of car at slower speeds.
