The Department of Correctional Services (DCS) should clarify how an alleged rogue IDAC official gained access to the facility, allegedly threatened Sergeant Nkosi, and took photographs of him without his consent.

DCS should also produce the letter allegedly written by IDAC to the facility manager concerning the transfer of Matlala from Ebongweni back to Kgosi Mampuru Correctional Centre, in which threats were allegedly made.

We seek clarity regarding the alleged visit to the facility by Mr. Mchunu, Adv. Batohi, Adv. Johnson and others. I also wish for the Commission to get to the bottom of the letter allegedly written by Matlala's roommate, which the Ad Hoc Committee did not seem interested in interrogating.
