My lovely students, and classroom, have become my comfort/safe zone, but I no longer feel challenged. Is it wise to avoid becoming complacent in one school? Why do some teachers stay in the same school for yearSSS? Doesn’t that limit one’s growth?

I work as a teacher and one of my students emailed me to say “Ms, I saw what’s happening on the news. Are you ok”. Genuinely, cried at their thoughtfulness. The smallest acts of kindness are usually the ones that mean the most 😊😊

My granda was the same. Would ask my nan to cook extra food, daily, so they can feed homeless folk. My parents followed their footsteps…& now we do too…& we’ll pass this tradition on etc
Yet, here we are today. Second class citizens cause of skin colour. Very upsetting.

Police are called as there is a “school shooter” in the building. Surely the LAST thing they should do is bomb the whole school with all the innocent wee kids inside. That’s what the Israeli government is doing atm. Ceasefire…negotiate!
