The ending of the sword route is one of the most important parts of this game. Kris, attacked by this look-alike of themselves, the "perfect replica" of the hero from "the original game where YOU decide what to do" as they literally cross the barrier of friction. EXTREMELY huge.

POV: these will def be Canon Stella and Octavia's reaction when they find out what Stolas has been up to lately.

And to think that Asmodeus practically warned him back in House of Asmodeus. He really hoped Stolas hadn't thrown everything away just for a fling.

Well, it seems Ozzy wasn't entirely wrong after all... He kinda foreshadowed it

And something tells me our dear Stolas must be eating his own beak right now, regretting some of his choices!
But there's something else about this scene that really caught my attention...
Have you noticed that Octavia is the first one to be engulfed in those blue flames?
I wonder if that was intentional.
What if Octavia burns first because she was the first one to get burned by Stolas's decisions?
And what about the fact that the flames are BLUE?
Blue is often associated with sadness, loneliness, and emotional pain. Could those flames symbolically represent the emotional damage caused by Stolas's choices?
Maybe Octavia being the first to burn isn't just a coincidence. Maybe it's a visual reminder that, long before Stolas lost his title, powers, and privileges, he was already destroying the most precious relationship he had: the one with his daughter. 💔
And perhaps the saddest part is that Octavia might also be the one he ends up losing forever.
Of course, this is just my interpretation, but looking back at this scene now, it feels strangely prophetic.
Maybe Asmodeus's warning was more accurate than anyone realized.
