Bitter sweet last day of the season out in nature painting yesterday. 🙏🏻 God gifted me one last day before I have to bring all my art projects inside.

🎨🐶 Yesterday was beautiful! 🙏🏻 My 3 legged buddy and I enjoyed our favorite spot and he kept me company painting. I just missed a pic of a huge golden eagle fishing near us, but got lucky with the weather before a big wind storm kicked up.

🙏🏻🎨 Absolute pristine day at the river. The weather cleared so I’m soaking in as much as possible before this spot is covered in ice and snow. Brought it back to my roots with a wave theme in a minimalist style. Ways to go.

My happy place. Sneaking in as much time plein air painting as I can when the weather is cooperating before I’m stuck inside for months.
Yesterday the wind put an abrupt end to my creativity but it was absolutely beautiful. The day before I got rained out.

Getting in as many days painting out in nature as possible. Cold, rain and snow on the horizon. Had a blast today committing to a forest of tiny trees to drive myself nuts but I got pretty far along and challenged myself.
I’m just so grateful to be painting again.
