“I have always respected the greats. Pelé was a king. Maradona was pure magic, something almost supernatural. Ronaldo has had an incredible career, the numbers, the mentality, the way he kept scoring at the highest level for so many years. You cannot ignore that.

But when I look at the complete picture, there is only one name for me: Lionel Messi.

He is the greatest player I have ever seen. Not just better than Ronaldo, he is on a different level. Ronaldo is a phenomenon, yes, but he is nowhere near Messi in terms of pure football, vision, consistency, and the ability to decide the most important matches for so long. Messi has done things that the others never did at the same level for the same period of time.

Pele and Maradona were extraordinary in their eras. But Messi’s legacy is bigger. More Ballons d’Or, the Champions League dominance, the World Cup, and still producing magic when most players are finished. He checked every box.

For me, it is not even a debate anymore. Messi is the greatest of all time. Clear.
