Yet again another productive week! We've had 2 members of staff run a learning zone staff meeting this week, we have had delegates complete a makaton course and we have had a School's Direct training session with trainees.

It's been another great week. We started the week inviting staff to leadership meetings, holding Governor mornings, SEND planning CPD, WhiteRose Hub COD, Makaton training and TA training.

Another productive week at the Teaching School. We had Ros Ferrara run a 'How to Teach Reading' course. We had TA training on CPOMs, a staff meeting on L.O's and Success Criteria and day of Paediatric First Aid training run by K.B.M.

In week 1 Spring 2. We have had: Place2be meetings, Governor meetings, a staff meeting on coaching and CPOMS. We have conducted School's Direct Training and interviews this week, we visited @KingstonUni to build links& our school PTA are busy preparing for our film night tonight!

It's been a great end to Spring 1 with this week's courses and training @AlternativeWTTA. We've had UEL run mentor training, Team Teach, E-safety training for our staff, KBM first aid and our coaching programme started this week.

It's been a great week at The Teaching School this week. We have enjoyed a staff meeting on behaviour and coaching. We have also enjoyed session 2 of our K.B.M first aid course. We had good parental engagement this week with a Year 2 reading workshop & a Year 1 phonic workshop.

Thank you K.B.M. training for kick starting our first aid training at work. It was our first session out of three and we can't wait for the next two.

We had our first TA meeting this week to discuss how to maximise how we use our lovely playground.

It's been another busy week. Thank you to West Thornton's PTA for getting together and mapping out some excellent ideas to raise community involvement.

In this week's staff meeting we had numerous presenters training us on behaviour and communication programmes @marvelousmeapp in addition to sharing our revised behaviour policy. Then finally Mr Beeson offering staff an outstanding coaching programme.

It's been a busy few weeks at The Alternative Teaching school. Just this week we have run session 3 of our NQT programme teaching our NQT's across Croydon about differentiation. It was a great session and we look forward to our next session.
