There is no reason to wait for Baltic states to become Western therefore and although they are Westernised now, there’s still no reason to return from the West.

@ag_gobby I understand that but that’s ultimately the point of dating. Mostly you’re going to spend a couple of hours and whatever the cost of the activity is to discover you have little in common with your date. But if you’re willing to just enjoy the company for what it is, it’s not bad.

@hudsonwarmap My guess is that all the troops that were trained in NATO countries weren’t then dispatched to sit in a hole for years, perhaps they were held in reserve until the conflict becomes critical and they’re being unleashed now for whatever reason.
