Everyone in Nigeria has a location. Now every location has a postcode.
Today, NIPOST launches the National Digital Postcode System, and I’m speaking to you from the heart of it: our new GIS lab, where every corner of Nigeria is being mapped and coded.
No more “turn left after the blue gate.” Your postcode connects you to deliveries, e-commerce, emergency services, banking and government services, wherever you are.
After a successful pilot in Abuja, it’s now live nationwide.

Proud to lead the team building infrastructure that puts every Nigerian on the map.
My deepest gratitude to President @officialasiwajubat for his vision and support under the Renewed Hope Agenda, and to the Hon. Minister @bosuntijani , whose leadership in building Nigeria’s digital economy made this possible.
Thank you to the NIPOST @nipostngn family, our partners, and every Nigerian who joined the exercise . This is national infrastructure built by Nigerians, for Nigerians.

In 2023, I was a critic.
I distrusted the APC like many in my generation. From the years of unrest and a weak post-COVID recovery, the Buhari government left too many scars: policy drift, economic pain, and political deceit from an establishment that felt disconnected from the people. I was disillusioned. My conviction then was clear. The opposition offered the better path. I acted on it. I organised. I spoke. I put my own resources behind that belief.
Three years later, I have changed my position.
I did not arrive at this overnight. I arrived here after years of tracking policy effects and watching results compound. Not because it is convenient. Not because I was paid. Because the reforms, the vision, and the leadership President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has shown have moved the country in a direction I can no longer honestly deny. Fuel subsidy removal was painful. FX unification was painful. But the architecture of a functioning economy is being rebuilt in public, with determination. That is leadership, not sloganeering.
Some will be upset to see me pivot. Others will cheer. I understand. Loyalty to a 2023 posture is easier than loyalty to results. I choose the latter. Nigeria cannot be frozen in 2023 arguments while 2027 and the future demand decisions.
I respect those who still stand with the opposition. I admire their persistence and the constituencies they speak for. Democracy needs that contest, and I will continue to advocate for it. I simply no longer believe their current path is the one that puts Nigeria on a consistent road to greatness.
The Renewed Hope agenda, however imperfect in execution, now contains the ingredients required: fiscal realism, infrastructure ambition, and a president willing to take politically costly decisions. That is what I am backing.
I have always practised active citizenship. I have supported candidates with my time, my voice, and my resources for free. That same energy and vigour will be deployed ahead of 2027. Not as a convert seeking applause, but as a Nigerian who has watched the data, lived the pain, and decided the country must keep moving.

"I was misled by Peter Obi, the 'greatest liar.' There was a time i told Nigerians that Peter Obi owed nothing, left no debt, and was not owing any salaries, gratuities, or pensions. I cannot say the same things today that I said about Peter Obi in 2023, because i now have more information."
— Kenneth Okwonkwo
@PeterObi All the talk at UNGA has it brought an End to the war in Gaza, or that of Ukraine, what of Sudan. Abeg allow our President focus on more pressing issues. Who UNGA help?
I laugh it off when people try to downplay Dangote’s efforts as simply being govt favoured.
The man is a risk taker. He treads where most try to play it safe with their money.
Dangote has opened the eyes of other African nations. The industrialization of Africa is here.
Nigerians just want to exist, we don't want to compete on the global stage. For us to make headway, we must embrace excellence and be ready to compete.
God knows my heart for Nigeria, and if I get the opportunity to lead, mediocrity would take a back seat.
The Godswill Akpabio stadium is an eyesore in comparison to Morocco’s stadium and that’s our best stadium in Nigeria. If there was a way we can carry out 200 million+ Nigerians out of the country at the same and the see how systems functions abroad.
Finance is just a different forte.
Paying attention to finance opens you up to things you never knew existed – hedge funds, PE, VC.
These terms were alien to me until I started paying attention to finance.
“We are not spoilt. Unlike when we meet our father’s friends’ kids, we stay quiet and don’t say who we are. Life was easier before people recognized us. Some are comfortable with social media, but we’re not. Our goal is to build our father’s company to $100 B.”
—Halima Dangote
I am very pleased by this news. Somepeople in this country have become very rich by corruptly colluding with government officials to impose liabilities on the government and then sue the government or force it into arbitration to pay huge sums in dollars.
Sometimes, they even collude with government lawyers to come to court and accept liability in exchange for a share of the proceeds. To me, these are some of the most despicable Nigerians alive.
Congratulations to Nigeria and well done to Presidents Obasanjo, Buhari and Tinubu.
The reason behind Lagos Traffic in the past 24 hours is so complex.
From inadequate road infrastructure to unworthy heavy duty vehicles and impatience.
Hope we do better as a people.
@egi_nupe Disciplinary ke. Something the production team evaluated and decided to go on with. You think the presenter just comes up with questions on the spot. Everything is planned and prepared ahead.
Kenneth Okonkwo: Atiku will scrap Tinubu’s naira float policy if elected president
Kenneth Okonkwo, spokesperson for the Atiku Abubakar presidential campaign council, says the former vice-president will not retain the Bola Tinubu administration’s naira floating exchange rate policy if elected president.
A free-floating exchange rate occurs when a government allows the exchange rate to be determined purely by market forces, with no attempt to influence its external value.
