The NFL and the Clark County Library District (@LVCCLD) hosted a grand opening to celebrate the local launch of @BarbershopBooks. This non-profit organization focuses on creating child-friendly reading spaces for boys aged 8 and under in barbershops, with the hope of inspiring reading. #InspireChange
The @BarbershopBooks program is now up and running in 10 Las Vegas valley barbershops. I went to Certified Barbershop 2 as the @LVCCLD kicked off the program. Coming up at 6am, I'll take you inside a different shop in Henderson that is changing lives in more than one way. @KTNV
This week to celebrate #SBLVIII, the NFL and Microsoft partnered with the Las Vegas-Clark County library district to launch the Barbershop Books literacy program. 📚
The event hosted local barbers and 150 kids from the local Boys & Girls clubs to read with NFL Legends and Commissioner Goodell, get free haircuts and books to take home, and participate in Play60 drills! #InspireChange
