The FIFA Club World Cup is a prime example of why Major League Soccer needs to make serious changes if it wants to truly compete with the world’s best.

To be proud of Miami is one thing, but 30 years of mediocrity should not be celebrated. The raising of the salary cap and the removal of this incompetent commissioner should be the bare minimum. To be so close, yet so far from greatness has become stale.

What’s worse? Hiding your league and Messi behind an Apple TV paywall, or being thrilled with 1 win in 10 matches at the Club World Cup on your own soil. #clubworldcup #mls
