The aim of Rug Lords was not simply to create a PFP collection siloed off from previous endeavors, but rather to establish a bridge that intuitively connects the other two parts of our ecosystem, namely Ordinal Rugs and $RUG token.

To achieve this goal, we've devised several initiatives aimed not only at constructing this bridge but also at ensuring that Rug Lords stands out as exceptionally unique and engaging.

Some of these initiatives:

1. Half of mint proceeds will be used to fund a "$RUG buyback program" - buying tokens for the project treasury and committing ourself to the long term success of the project (Initiated post-Runes migration).

2. Rug Lords will feature child-parent provenance featuring a historic sub-1k inscription as the parent for the collection. (keep an eye out on this 👀)

3. Rug Lords will feature special traits, varying in rarity, which will grant holders perks such as Rune airdrops and even gen 1 Ordinal Rugs acquired from secondary market.

With all that being said, we've opted to postpone the mint date from 04/09/2024 to 04/17/2024. This extension will afford us the opportunity to refine every last detail, ensuring that this collection is truly one of a kind.

This is just the beginning for the Rug ecosystem, a lot more to unpack in the days ahead.
