After my first child was born the pediatrician came in to educate us on vaccines

Immediately he brings up heavy metals:

"Are you worried about the aluminum in vaccines? Because you should know your baby gets more aluminum from breast milk than they do from a vaccine"

I didn't argue, but I did do my research

A single vaccine contains between 0.125-0.85mg of aluminum

In comparison breast milk contains between 0.01-0.05mg of aluminum per liter (34oz or about 4 cups), and infants drink between 16-32oz of breast milk per day

So if we assume the lowest intake of milk and lowest aluminum level in that milk it would take about 25 days to reach the same 0.125mg in some vaccines

If we assume the highest content in breast milk and that the baby drinks a full 32oz per day it takes more like 3-17 days to reach the level in a single dose of a vaccine (0.125-0.85)

Sounds logical, right?

The problem is the pediatrician was completely ignoring an important point, BIOAVAILABILITY

Aluminum from breast milk has less than a 1% bioavailability, meanwhile the bioavailability of aluminum in vaccines approaches 100% absorption

This means we need to take the number above and multiply it by 100x, it would take a year of 1 liter daily breast milk to even surpass the lowest aluminum content in vaccines, and with the current schedule MULTIPLE are stacked together in the first few days of life

This is the kind of thing that frustrates me endlessly, I believe people should weigh risk/benefit and choose what they believe is best for their child, but twisting the facts to give a blatantly false impression ("you're giving your child more aluminum than a vaccine") is pure fear based manipulation

I've seen some moms get upset that their husbands don't wake up to their baby's cries when they do. There's nothing to be upset about. Mothers are biologically wired to wake up to even the faintest cry. Fathers are not.

Pregnancy hormones reshape the maternal brain in ways no other brain experiences. When you hear an infant cry, your amygdala and emotional alarm circuits fire right away. Fathers' brains respond too, but in cognitive and problem solving regions. There is much weaker activation in the alarm centers. Your cortisol also rises faster and stronger.

Those structural changes in the mother are still visible years after birth.

You are running on a different sleep system than your husband. His brain was never wired the way yours is. Once you know that, there's nothing left to be upset about.

Nobody tells u that high testosterone is actually pretty boring to describe.

No rage, no aggression, no climbing walls, real androgens feel more like, u move when u want to move, u don’t move when u don’t, nothing is pulling u around.

Food tastes better, sleep hits different, u wake up before the alarm not bc ur anxious but bc ur body is done sleeping, ur jaw is set, ur posture isn’t something u think about.

Women pick up on something but they can’t name it, ur not doing anything, ur just there, that’s the pheromone conversation but that’s a different post.

The thing that surprised me most, decisions got easier, not bc i became smarter, bc the noise got quiet, cortisol is loud, it fills ur head with hypotheticals and worst cases and maybe i shouldn’t, drop the cortisol, raise the androgens, and suddenly ur just deciding things, no committee meeting in ur skull.

But listen, it wasn’t overnight, took fixing the food first, then the sleep, then the stress, in that order, but the destination is quieter than people think.

Which type of worship should the modern Hindu conduct?

It is often claimed that man should abandon ‘selfish’ worship for the pursuit of the ‘selfless,’ but it is the pursuit of pravṛtti dharma {sākāma upāsanā — worship done for the fulfilment of desires}, which leads to the pursuit of nivṛtti dharma {niṣkāma upāsanā, worship done with no intent but for the good of the deity}.

As long as one engages with the world, as long as one earns money, as long as one seeks fame and recognition, as long as one wants their children to do good, it is hypocritical to say that they conduct only niṣkāma upāsanā, because the desire to experience things of the world is clearly reflected there. Thus, with the pursuit of sākāma worship, as man gradually accomplishes that which he worships for, the constitution of his saṃskāras too is gradually transformed by the anugraha of the devatā through any form of worship, which leads to the eventual transformation of the mind, and the citta {which reflects lifetimes of impressions from past karmas}, enabling one to safely progress spiritually.

It is incorrect to preach to the householder to be without the world whilst being of the world. Then, how can one learn to spiritually and materially thrive as a householder whilst being initiated by a renunciate? There is nothing common between the two. The former seeks the advancement of his family, fulfilment of his desires, and his own spiritual welfare, whilst the latter abandons the world, longing for union with paraśiva. It is for this reason the tantras say that dīkṣā should be taken from a Guru who is not a sanyāsī, vānaprasthī, ascetic, one’s father, maternal grandfather, and that the guru should have a wife along with children; who is meditative & well versed in tāntrik knowledge and mantra {— yāmalatantram, gaṇeśavimarśinītantram, viśvasāratantram, matsyasūktam, and rudrayāmalam}.

Moving on, how can one ensure that they are not completely swayed by the world in the pursuit of their desires? For this, the tantras say, that “kali is the slave of those pious men, the rule of whose life is to do good to others” {परोपकारब्रतिनां साधूनां किङ्करः कलिः।}.

Maternal hyperandrogenism is linked to sexually dimorphic negative outcomes in offspring, incl. increased anxiety susceptibility, PCOS-like traits in daughters & metabolic/reproductive issues.

Types who possess estrogenic femininity are more fit for pregnancy bc curvier anatomy & superior body fat distribution. Better quality milk. More neurotic, but thus more emotionally attuned/sensitive to children. This leads to healthier offspring, both physically and mentally. Biological resource abundance triggers sexual dimorphic development. If family dynamics suffer bc of her neuroticism, it's bc you're a low quality male. Fathers low in neuroticism & high in assertiveness have an easier time controlling female volatility, lowering female stress by making her feel safe and not burdening her with paternal tasks.

Types who are feminine bc of low androgen (classic Oriental types) are more agreeable & less likely to fuck up family dynamics. Remember that if the mother undermines your authority, it'll set a bad example for your children, indirectly affecting your grandchildren. If you handle female volatility well, then her agreeableness will even reinforce your authority, giving you more control to raise your children to your liking, and in turn, increases your ability to influence your grandchildren.

I haven't even touched on the advantages for female offspring.

Those who are both high estrogen & low androgen? Extremely rare. You can spot them bc they're both neotenous & hourglass figured, e.g. babyfaced Nordics, hourglass Orientals.

Grew up seeing both kinds of families very closely, and from lived experience, feel that no matter how much circumstances force a woman into a job, she should eventually try to shape life in a way where she can leave the 9–5 cycle or move toward something more flexible or self-employed.

The idea of both parents constantly working has many hidden effects. The mental health of children often diminishes quietly. Such children can become more prone to love bombing, emotionally unstable attachment patterns, low self-esteem, and falling for people who give inconsistent on-and-off validation. A child then has to spend unnecessary emotional energy later in life trying to heal those loops. At the same time, shared financial responsibility sometimes makes men less accountable, while women end up carrying both worlds at once. Over time, this clashes with her deeper nature; she becomes emotionally exhausted, colder, and unable to find happiness easily, almost turning into another “man” of the family rather than remaining emotionally fulfilled in her feminine essence.

On the contrary, have often observed that in homes where the woman is educated yet not trapped in this exhausting cycle, both the health of the woman and the emotional well-being of the children improve exponentially, and so does the prosperity and harmony of the household. Ancient wisdom restricted women from entering endless labor for a reason. Our ancestors built far more stable families, minds, and societies than the modern world pretending to be progressive while drowning in dysfunction ever could.

843 women in Beed, India had their uterus surgically removed in 2024, right before they went to cut sugarcane. 477 of them were aged 30 to 35. The Maharashtra government's own health survey, published in June 2025, said so.

The surgeries are about money. In Beed, a man and his wife sign up as a working pair, locally called a koyta (the sickle they use). A middleman called a mukadam gives them an upfront payment of Rs 50,000 to 60,000 (about $520 to $625) for a six-month sugarcane season. To work that off, the couple has to cut and load two tonnes of cane every single day, for 12 to 14 hours, with no day off all week. The mukadam keeps 15 to 25 percent of the hiring amount plus another 30 percent of what the couple earns. The fine for missing a day is Rs 250 to 500. A woman who takes one day off when her period is bad can lose almost a week of take-home pay.

The mill that buys the cane is legally separate from all of it. The mill just sells the sugar. Maharashtra has 210 sugar mills and is finishing the 2025-26 season near 10 million tonnes of sugar produced. The buyers include Coca-Cola, PepsiCo, Mondelez (which owns Cadbury), and Unilever. A 2024 New York Times and Fuller Project investigation traced the chain through two big sugar companies, Dalmia Bharat Sugar and NSL Sugars. Both fed into mills carrying the industry's main ethical stamp, called Bonsucro. Its audits caught none of it. The Times found everything those audits missed, in months.

Back in 2019, a government investigation surveyed 82,309 women cane cutters in Beed. 13,861 of them, 17 percent, had had their uterus removed. A 2024 study by the IIED, an international research group, looked harder at 423 households in Beed. In households where the women had migrated for cane work, 55.73 percent had had a hysterectomy. Where the women had stayed home, the figure was 17.06 percent. Across all of India, the national rate for women aged 15 to 49 is 3.2 percent.

After the 2024 reporting: Mondelez quietly cut ties with Dalmia. Coca-Cola launched a worker-training program in 4 mills. PepsiCo blocked a shareholder vote in February 2025, using a US rule that lets companies skip votes on parts of their business worth less than 5 percent of revenue. The US Department of Labor added Beed sugar to its list of products made using forced labour. Maharashtra set up another committee on February 25, 2026, seven years after its first one.

In those seven years, the sugar kept coming. The system that produces the hysterectomies is the same system that produces the sugar in the soda cans on the shelf. Both are still working exactly as they were built.
