Wait I just figured it out... @DestinyTheGame
With the new destiny revival news, NO Destiny 3, just keep D2 but drop the 2. Now it's just "Destiny". No multi-year development cycle for a new game and we keep all the quirks that make D2 special, like well skates, etc.
Am I the only one who remembers when Bungie said something along the lines of "Destiny 2 will remain the priority even when Marathon releases" in a twab a while ago? What ever happened to that.
WE HIT PIN 1 AGAIN in SEASON 2!!! HUUUGE thanks to chat for all the new follows and subs!!! YALL ARE THE BEST. And finally shoutout my goated friends for the help @nuAngelics@Bladeerrader & https://t.co/hAzWXDoVw5

Mixed emotions with the Destiny 2 news. I am so grateful for all the people Iโve met through this game and the exposure it has brought to my channels.
The worst part of it all is knowing there will be no more worlds first raid races anymore, the end of an era. See you in D3?

For almost twelve years, we have had the joy and honor to explore the Destiny universe with you all. Through all the ups and downs, surprises and triumphs, building Destiny alongside our players has been a monumental privilege. While our love for Destiny 2 has not changed, it has become clear that after The Final Shape, we have reached the time for our shared worlds, and Destiny, to live beyond Destiny 2.
As our focus turns towards a new beginning for Bungie, we will begin work incubating our next games. To that end, on June 9, 2026, we will release the final live-service content update for Destiny 2 to begin that new journey as a studio.
Though active development may be concluding, we will ensure that Destiny 2 remains playable, just as the original Destiny is today. Many changes in this final update will aim to ensure that Destiny 2 is a welcoming place for players to return to.
Weโre proud of Destiny 2, the places it took us, and the legacy it has created. Because of you all, our universe is vast, built on years of shared stories, adventures, and victories. From the Cosmodrome to the Pale Heart to the Lawless Frontier, we have forged life-long memories and friendships with you all.
We are incredibly grateful to everyone who made that journey with us.
From the deepest part of our hearts, thank you, and we'll see you in the stars.

@MarathonDevTeam Aside from people hard cheating, you guys need to look into banning teams of 6 intentionally queueing into each other in ranked. In plat lobbies we've counted 5 teams doing this team up garbage and have lost 30k+ loadouts to this ...
A gear refund feature would be phenomenal too
@Ziegler_Dev can you guys look into banning/preventing 6 man lobbies (i.e. 2 teams intentionally trying to match each other) in ranked? Played against 4 or 5 6 stacks last night in platinum 2 ranked and lost about 200k total of gear with my squad combined as well as loss of RP.
