Many are asking about the attack on Iran and whether this connects to Bible prophecy. The Bible doesn’t tell us the date of Christ’s return, but it does tell us to watch. Ezekiel 38 mentions ‘Persia’—which many Bible teachers identify with modern Iran—as part of a future coalition against Israel. So events like this don’t make me set a date, but they do make me take Jesus’ words seriously: ‘When these things begin to happen, look up.’ The right response isn’t panic—it’s prayer, faith, and getting the gospel to as many people as possible, because only Christ can give real peace.

Rescued Twice—Once from the River, Once for Eternity.

As floodwaters surged through the banks of the Guadalupe River, Ram Rodriguez didn’t hesitate. He tied a tow strap around himself and his neighbor Joe—who has Parkinson’s—and led Joe and his wife, Lilia, to safety.

“I just thank God that I was there and able to help,” Ram said.

But a second, even more powerful rescue was on the way.

While Samaritan’s Purse volunteers worked to clean out the couple’s devastated home, chaplains shared the Gospel with Joe and Lilia. When asked if they wanted to be saved, Lilia exclaimed, “I want that!”

With tears in their eyes and joy in their hearts, Joe and Lilia prayed to receive Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.

“I’m so happy!” Lilia said. “I now want to follow Jesus the rest of my life.”

Out of devastation, Jesus brings comfort, healing, and eternal hope.

Through partnership with @SamaritansPurse and its Mission Aviation Services, we have been able to fly shoebox gifts to children in Maban, South Sudan! ✈️

Many people who live there are refugees, and last week, 200 children experienced God's love through a shoebox gift. 🎁

Please pray for our volunteers, as they distribute 1,600 more gift-filled shoeboxes! 🙏

Searching through the trash is the way of survival here at the Koshe dumpsite in Ethiopia. Any toys children may have were once on the trash heap.

So when shoebox gifts full of new toys arrived, hearts were overwhelmed. For many, it was their first gift ever! 🎁

We praise God for the hope of Jesus shared through each shoebox! 🙏
