@martanasesculaw #AirPollution and #environment endangerment has always been a pressing concern but now it's become crucial. Future generations of babies will now be facing risks of damaged brains and low weight ultimately leading to even more health problems in the future. #GilliesLaw
@JDemarcoLaw#GunLaws has become more of a serious topic in the 5 years since the Sandy Hook shooting took place and rightfully so. The main reason things like this happen are because guns are so easily accessible to society and that clearly needs to change. #SandyHook5yrs
@camsabolaw Sexual harassment, abuse or rape should all fall under the same category of #punishment and severity of charge. This should be taken seriously, and it is encouraging as more and more women are finding the courage to stand up to what has happened to them.

@VivianaSanta6@gabriella_finn This is for sure going to lower opportunities for companies to advertise or sponsor their products etc. This will indeed influence the #economy, as you can say goodbye to things like online shopping etc. https://t.co/2TUzVSl9Gc
@chrisguglietti Section 15 of the #Charter was indeed infringed upon in past actions of Quebec discriminating against people with disabilities. I do believe that now with change of the law towards a better society they are no longer going against the Charter. #Quebec has realized their mistakes.
@chrisguglietti I think an animal's life is as valuable as a human's life. So yes, I do believe that abusing animals deserve this harsh a sentence and should continue to be enforced in future cases. As you stated, this does set a future #precedent as it was Nova Scotia's first jail sentence.
@orquin_jade@apetrassolaw This story contains infringement of Section 8 of the #Charter as security of a person is at play. A woman should be able to decide on what to do with her own body, and if she sees that she can't #support a child she's going to have she has the right to make any decision.
@JDemarcoLaw@gabriella_finn I agree with this point as teaching kids before they get to high school would be more beneficial to their outcome of drug use. However, I do believe the legalization of the drug will help as the authorized and verified dispensaries will produce #fentanyl free products. #DrugLaws
@JDemarcoLaw@BcssCristian_ I do also agree with that as the #treatments performed on him could've caused real problems to her sons health and the situation would end up backfiring on the mother herself. I think the whole idea of this is stupid from the beginning and their should indeed be #charges laid.
@BcssCristian_ I think that this can indeed fall under the category of child abuse as this violates #Section218 of the #CriminalCode. The child went through bodily harm and injury and he was completely healthy the whole time. I feel as thought the mother should definetly be charged. #GilliesLaw
@VivianaSanta6 Threats on social media and threats in person are both looking for the same outcome, however in person there is a risk that the person will actually follow through with their threats. This man is indeed going against #Section264 of the #criminalcode and is not safe to society.
@VivianaSanta6 I agree the people involved have shown both #mensrea and #actusrea in being a part of and arranging this gambling event. Gambling can become very serious especially when someone decides not to pay up. I also do agree they should be fined and face the 5 years of jail time.
@VivianaSanta6 I also agree that she should take any #deal that comes her way. The odds of proving herself innocent of all the charges she's being #accused of are not very high. #Situations can escalate very quickly and sometimes we lose control of what's happening and that's very evident here.
@JoshMags_ 2/2 therefore I do believe that pedestrians should indeed be charged with a fine if caught walking the cross walks on their technology. #BeAware#Liable
@JoshMags_ I do agree with the fact that the driver should be responsible, however that does not mean it's ok for pedestrians to be walking across the street not paying attention to their surroundings. At the end of the day, the person should be responsible for their own lives, so 1/2
@chrisguglietti I ultimately believe that #Section8 was not #infringed upon. This man was an imminent threat to more than just a couple people inside this bank. It was a shame that the man had to die, however I feel the officer made the right decision based on the situation
@JDemarcoLaw I think they should indeed go to jail as I stated in my original response, I believe that should be charged to the full extent of the given law. Animal cruelty is something to be taken very seriously as it should not be acceptable in any situation. #GilliesLaw#AnimalCruelty
@JoshMags_@massiah_jayden I think that is #sentence is high because they are looking to send a message to people in the future who think they would get away with something like this. This does indeed set a #precedent towards future cases and shows that hate crimes will not be tolerated and should not be.
I agree with you Joe, I think that a repeat offender especially within the doping offence should be banned from the sport entirely. if you are given a second chance and continue to try and cheat your way to titles you should not be allowed to compete anymore. #UFC#Dope https://t.co/0eurRHjqw5
@BcssCristian_ I think he should be banned from the UFC , If you get caught doping like Jon Jones did and still continue to dope in his first fight back from his suspension it shows that he will never learn and does not to deserve to continue to fight in the. #UFC
