This was a relatively slow but nice movie about aging with dignity and not writing off the elderly... but it lacks any sort of satisfying, or even a decent, ending. Beautiful views of rural Brazil that make me want to travel there, though.
Despite not seeing this midnight madness movie at midnight, it still delivers all the blood, gore, guts, and over-the-top violence that one expects in a fun, fresh story.
This movie holds up a very important mirror to all of us about the dangers of associating wealth with status. A reminder to try and avoid equating your wealth with your reputation, as it can lead to some serious consequences. Very appropriate for the current times!
This one was good but not THAT great. A powerful story about justice, revenge, and keeping one's humanity, but I felt there were too many slapstick comedy breaks, and the movie overall seemed way too much of a slow burn.
Really good series and definitely a fresh perspective on Indigenous culture, family, how we present ourselves, and are perceived. I hope the series gets distributed in North America so I can see all 8 episodes.
As midnight madness movies go, this one had it all... plenty of action, blood, explosions, people blowing up, and on top of that, the incredible @mrbobodenkirk.
This was probably longer than it needed to be, but overall, this was well done overall and shines a very bright light on abuses in the justice system. This story could probably have been told in many different countries, so no one should see this and think it's only in India.
