You’ll meet many people in your lifetime. It’s part of the Almighty’s Plan. Some will remind you of repeated cycle you’ve experienced in your life. Others will steer you towards a new start. That’s why it’s important to attract the right people into your life.
If you find yourself and your conversation focusing on people; what’s going on in their lives, their relationships, their social status etc, then you have a serious problem. You need to get out of that mould; focus on yourself rather than being concerned with others.
The truth is you’re going to be slandered from time to time, so don’t allow it to throw you into emotional turmoil when it happens. If you feel the need to defend yourself against a lie, the best approach is to give yourself time to cool off before reacting calmly.
Don’t keep grudges & bad feelings in your heart. It will upset you & weigh you down. It won’t change anything & you’ll end up feeling miserable. Let it all go. Keep your heart light. Let Him take care of it. Your health will improve & your faith in the Almighty will strengthen.
Almighty. On this blessed day, we pray that you have Mercy on us; take away the suffering all around us and bring on the recovery. We know there is no cure but Your cure. Heal our hearts and purify our souls so we can feel a strong attachment to You. Aameen.
When your heart is bitter, you’re better off guarding your tongue. You don’t want to end up regretting what you said. It’s always wiser to remain silent.
Almighty. Keep our hearts soft and protect them from hardening. Shower us with Your Mercy. When we commit a sin, allow us to feel the guilt that comes with it. Don’t make us among those who sin and yet aren’t remorseful. Aameen.
Let go of things which don’t concern you. You’ll see your life take on a different turn. You’ll glow from within, be less stressed and have more time for the things that matter.
We think our problems will never get better. That’s our whole problem. We lack faith. We lack trust in the Almighty. Has it occurred to us that He already had the solution way before we had the problem?
Al-Hasan al-Basri [R] would say:
“The grave eats away fat and flesh but it cannot eat away true faith.”

When you supplicate, do it wholeheartedly. Don’t pay lip service. Remember, you’re asking the One who made you; the One in complete control of your existence. Let your emotions flow. Beg. Cry. Whatever it takes to show Him that you need Him. Above all, trust that He will answer!
Almighty. May we never be among those who are like leaking buckets. People who follow up their good deeds with bad ones. May we never be among those who pray, fast & give charity but curse, swear, gossip & backbite without batting an eyelid. Protect us from such behaviour!
Learn to admit your mistakes. Eat humble pie, swallow your pride and know that you’ll be respected more for it. Many fail to understand this. The earlier you admit that you have done wrong, the more time you have to learn and grow from them. It’s a lesson well learned!
No matter what you’re going through in life, always have faith in the Almighty. Trust that He wants the best for you, even if He doesn't give you exactly what you want, He's always taking care of your needs. You might not see it right away, but eventually it’ll all make sense.
Work hard on your marriage. Don't give up so easily unless you've exhausted all avenues of reconciliation. Everyone goes through challenges. It’s part of life. Choosing to divorce without seriously trying to resolve matters is regrettable. Divorce should only be as a last resort.
Quit worrying about the past. Things happen for a reason. The Almighty never wastes a moment of what you’ve experienced. What you went through before can be the catalyst for change that’s needed tomorrow. Remember, if the Almighty is for you, nobody can be against you!
