Politicians should get one vote deducted for each sign left on public right-of-ways past Election Day. At least make erected signs useful and non-partisan: reminders of dates/locations to vote, where to find sample ballots, how to register, where to read bios and positions, etc.

The candy and magazine industries need to lobby against self-checkouts at supermarkets. Just think how many fewer @Skittles, @mmschocolate, and @readersdigest are impulsively purchased when you're forced to scan your own and not wait behind someone with 50+ items in their cart.

@FinnianBurnett @KRiversWrites I created the original, and someone copped it and changed it to Gen X (typical of our gen, the originators of stealing off the Internet without attribution). Then older Gen Xers complaining in comments sections about the lack of Mavis Beacon and DARE.
