A reality check for @UNHumanRights and your selective outrage:
1. Why was there no urgent graphic card when targeted killings of Kashmiri Pandits and innocent migrant workers were executed by terror groups in Jammu & Kashmir?
2. Why has UN Human Rights never held a press briefing demanding justice for 50+ Hindu temples desecrated and minorities lynched under Bangladesh’s interim regime?
3. Why did UN Human Rights look away when hundreds of Hindu and Sikh minor girls were systematically abducted, forcibly converted, and married off in Sindh, Pakistan?
4. Why did UN Human Rights remain silent when 3,100+ students and professors were violently assaulted, handcuffed, and arrested by riot police across US university campuses?
5. Why no emergency statement when UK Police used draconian Public Order laws to preemptively arrest climate protesters and clamp down on peaceful demonstrators before rallies even began?
6. Why has UN Human Rights remained silent on violent crackdowns, rubber bullets, tear gas, and mass detentions deployed by French police during nationwide protests across France?
7. Why does Geneva issue instant ultimatums over routine, lawful preventive crowd management in Delhi, but goes blind and deaf to actual state-sponsored atrocities next door?
India answers to its Constitution and Supreme Court. Your selective outrage fools nobody!
#India: We are concerned by reports of mass detentions of demonstrators, protest leaders, members of civil society organisations, lawyers and journalists, before and during today’s large-scale demonstrations in Delhi.
We call on the authorities to ensure that the right to peaceful assembly is fully respected and fulfilled.

The right to protest must be protected, but so must the right of a city to function safely.
Responsible policing is about balancing both.

Look at the chronology: orchestrated global media hit-jobs, weaponized regulatory pressures targeting Indian IT giants, foreign tech oligarchs seeking sovereign bypasses, and an opportunistic domestic ecosystem cheerleading foreign intervention.
The architecture of this regime-change playbook is unmistakable. The goal is simple: stall an economically self-reliant, geopolitically independent India that refuses to bend.
But their fatal miscalculation is today’s Bharat. Under the resolute leadership of PM Shri @narendramodi ji, 1.4 billion Indians will never allow external vested interests or internal proxies to dictate our sovereign destiny.

It may be surprising to journalists but India is not Delhi.
Nobody cares about this protest outside of that 1km in Delhi.
It is a working Saturday.
People are going to their jobs. Folks are going to the markets to buy their groceries. Children are going to school. Kids are playing on the grounds. Restaurants expect good weekend business. Businesses have opened their shops. Festive preparations are on in full swing.
Delhi has a main-character syndrome.
Journalists think the whole country revolves around what happens in Delhi.
It doesn't.

The State is at work for 1.4 billion citizens.
The State is busy maintaining public order, ensuring commuter safety, and preventing deliberate disruption in the capital.
If asking protest organizers to follow statutory guidelines and prevent civic disruption feels like "war" to you, the problem isn’t the State, it’s your craving for perpetual victimhood.
Drink some water!
The BJP, under the leadership of PM Shri @narendramodi Ji, continues to win elections one after another despite the lies and disinformation campaigns run by Rahul Gandhi and the INDI Alliance. The NDA’s victories in the by-elections in West Bengal, Assam and Puducherry, and the recently held local body polls in Rajasthan and Tripura, demonstrate that the people have completely rejected the INDI Alliance.
Having lost their public support, these parties question institutions after every defeat, but the people have recognised their true character. This is why the people have once again delivered a thumping mandate, reaffirming their unwavering faith in the BJP.
Heartfelt congratulations on this victory to West Bengal CM Shri @SuvenduWB Ji, Assam CM Shri @himantabiswa Ji, Rajasthan CM Shri @BhajanlalBjp Ji, Tripura CM Prof. @DrManikSaha2 Ji and Puducherry CM Shri N. Rangasamy Ji, along with all the state presidents and dedicated karyakartas.
No nation on earth allows non-citizens to mount political platforms to undermine its constitutional bodies under the guise of "activism."
"Non-violence" is not an exemption certificate from the Foreigners Act. If a foreign national wants to participate in domestic political rallies, preach morality, and meddle in our democratic processes, they must first surrender their foreign perks and enter on an Indian passport.
India’s democracy belongs solely to its citizens, not foreign influencers or OCI holders using activism to undermine constitutional bodies like the ECI.
If @dhruv_rathee holds foreign citizenship or an OCI card, participating in domestic political rallies is a direct violation of statutory visa rules & Sections 7B/7D of the Citizenship Act, 1955.
Urging @HMOIndia , Hon’ble HM @AmitShah ji and EAM @DrSJaishankar ji to initiate a thorough verification through the @BOIndiaOfficial for his passport credentials and visa compliance.
Law must take its course without exception!

Tech operates on first principles, @elonmusk, and sovereign democracies run on the rule of law.
India’s telecom and satellite broadband approvals aren't about "oligarchs"; they hinge on strict national security, sovereign data localization, and landing-rights compliance. In a border-sensitive nation of 1.4B, no enterprise gets a regulatory bypass simply because of market cap. That means mandatory in-country terrestrial gateways, lawful interception capabilities, and ensuring sensitive communications cannot bypass Indian jurisdiction through inter-satellite links.
On top of that, @TRAI is working out fair spectrum pricing so players who spent tens of billions in transparent domestic auctions aren't undercut by backdoors. Besides, pitching an ~₹8,000 monthly subscription with ~₹34,000 in hardware as a solution for underserved rural citizens, in a market where 1 GB of data costs under ₹15, is detached from ground realities. Satcom has its place, but sovereign rules come before commercial convenience.
And it is fascinating watching @RahulGandhi jump in to cheer this narrative. Just a while ago his entire ecosystem was making noise about sovereign data security, questioning backdoor deals, and asking who holds the kill switch if foreign tech enters critical infrastructure. Now the minute there is a chance to score a headline, he conveniently flips to backing a foreign billionaire against India's own statutory bodies.
India has built the most affordable digital ecosystem on the planet through sound regulation. Global enterprise is always welcome here, but national security and regulatory compliance come first, every single time.
What if I say that the next mega employment opportunity in India is already knocking at our door, and we are simply not looking at it?
@NITIAayog projects our elderly population will surge from 15 crore today to 35 crore by 2050. Our parents cared for us all their lives, but as families evolve, who will be there for them when they need daily assistance and dignified care?
This care gap can become India’s biggest grassroots employment engine. A young person with basic matriculation can earn a stable living right inside their own district as a trained geriatric caregiver.
The demand from our rising middle class is guaranteed. What we urgently need from a policy perspective is formalization: accredited courses, rigorous certification, and transparent oversight so caregiving becomes a respected profession, not an informal struggle.
It is time we build the infrastructure to care for those who built our nation.

Remembering Shri Ratan Tata Ji on his Punyatithi. 🙏
He showed us that the true measure of success is not just what we build, but how we contribute to society. From taking the Tata Group to new heights to supporting education, healthcare and livelihoods through the Tata Trusts, his life reflected a deep sense of responsibility towards the nation and its people.
His humility, integrity and commitment to giving back remain an inspiration. His legacy lives on in the lives he touched and the values he stood for.
Om Shanti. 🙏🇮🇳

VIDEO | Just three days before his untimely passing, Nana Patekar had stood before an audience at a social event in Goa and, with his characteristic style, remarked that everyone has to go someday and "I don’t know whether I will be here tomorrow.” His words now linger, reflecting the humility and depth of an actor whose life and art touched millions.
Patekar was addressing a function of Samraat Club International at Dona Paula near Panaji in Goa on October 4, during which he also remembered his friend and former Goa chief minister, late Manohar Parrikar.
"We all have to go someday. I don't know whether I will be here tomorrow. That time comes in the life of everyone. But before that time comes (we have to think, whether), am I able to do what I want to do? Have I made the effort?," Patekar said.

It was a pleasure interacting with the students and faculty at @weareAUD (Dr. B. R. Ambedkar University, Delhi) on the challenges of conserving biodiversity and the policies we need for a greener future.
The questions and discussions made for a thoughtful and engaging session. Always encouraging to see young minds engage so deeply with issues that will shape our environmental future.
