“ELOHIM” - Psalm 62
“God” is mentioned seven times in the above Psalm, and as it occurs in the plural, in the Christian sense as read in the reflected light of the Scriptures, it denotes the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit, in their united action of power.
1. Salvation. “God, from Him cometh my salvation” (v. 1).
2. Expectation. “God, for my expectation is from Him” (v. 5).
3. Protection. “In God is my salvation and glory” (v. 7).
4. Power. “The rock of my strength and refuge is in God” (v. 7).
6. The “Be Careful for Nothing” of Non-anxiety (v. 6).
7. The “Prayer” of Comprehension (v. 6).
8. The “Thanksgiving” of Doxology (v. 6).
