@dtwerty Hi Danny, our road condition reports come from Alberta 511, which is operated by the Government of Alberta. Occasionally, we will run into a situation where road conditions have changed quickly, so they no longer match the information we have received from these sources.

Glad to hear Victor and our Roadside Assistance team could help unlock your Friday night. Hope you had a great weekend to follow, maybe checking out some fun archival CFRN footage! π
Locked my only set of keys in my vehicle and as much as that sucks....it meant I got to meet a great guy by the name of Victor (who made an appearance on Popcorn Playhouse in the old CFRN days 50years ago). Dear @AMARoadReports keep Victor around forever! He's a gem...
Survey closes April 6 - have you told the government that you support improved safety for roadside workers? Take the survey, and please consider telling them you want blue & amber lights on tow trucks in question 10. https://t.co/i0Fzg4zSX0
All it took was one car that didnβt slow down & move over. Please support improved visibility for tow truck operators like Kevin. Take the survey and please consider using question 10 to support blue & amber together on tow trucks.

@AMARoadReports 6pm. Highway conditions are starting to deteriorate across S AB.
Our driver is at Cluny (EB Highway 1) and reporting very poor conditions. Heavy snow. Snow covered roads. Down to 80kms. Visibility is poor.

@yegtraffic WB Henday around Whitemud/Lessard is slow going. Windy conditions making visibility low. Road is very slick. Please slow down and give yourself plenty of time today. #yegtraffic@511Alberta@AMARoadReports
@AMARoadReports update 715am
#medhat city roads are still in really rough shape. Lots of snow on roadways making it hard to get around, and icy patches. Itβs really slow going out there. City crews will continue clearing priority routes today.

@jaderz02 Hi Sasha, road condition reports are supplied by 511 from highway maintenance contractors. When inclement weather is possible or happening, best to assume there will be some build up on the highways. The highway cameras receive more frequent updates and can be a good resource.
