Eleven years ago today, nine Black worshippers were murdered during Bible study at Mother Emanuel A.M.E. Church in Charleston.
Rev. Clementa C. Pinckney. Cynthia Hurd. Susie Jackson. Ethel Lance. Rev. Depayne Middleton-Doctor. Tywanza Sanders. Rev. Daniel Simmons Sr. Rev. Sharonda Coleman-Singleton. Myra Thompson.
We say their names and remember the sacredness of their lives.
This was not only a mass shooting. It was a heinous act of white supremacy carried out in a house of worship. We must tell the truth about that hatred, grieve what it stole, and remain committed to dismantling the violence of racism in every form.

@Auggystyle1@fbaredman CDC Wonder reports deaths. So this chart means that black people are being killed at a higher rate than any other group. But I doubt the validity of this chart because I think the create probably manipulated CDC Wonder's data in bad faith.
@no1_unos@ELONSUCKS3532 "The civil war didn't have anything to do with slavery..."
You should go back in time and let them know, because that's not what they wrote in their declarations of war.
@HyperHasDied@nay305910@Chris27085982 You're still at it after all this time? Took you days to think up a response, and you write a whole book. Listen to someone else explain the issue.

They gave Karmelo Anthony 35 years in prison for the exact same crime a white kid committed but got 10 years.
And Anthony wasn't the instigator in this one.
Black people aren’t oppressed. They get a pass for all bad behavior. If anything, they have black privilege.
Any perceived racism is brought on by their own behavior—Not all of them—But always them. It’s Pathetic.
They simply suffer from a lack of self control, and a lack of class. Like toddlers, They have no impulse control. It’s their culture, and they embrace it as a valid way to live and behave. We are all sick of it. All of us.
Any day, any day at all, they can stop killing each other, stop robbing, and gang banging. Black women can stop screaming, having girl fights in the streets, twerking, having multiple baby daddies and wearing ugly nails and eyelashes. They can simply stop.
If they want to live in this country, they can simply stop all that, and join civilization. If not, well, it’s not going to get any better for anyone.
@RyanAnd65661439@krassenstein Oh, in that case, nothing is ever any president's fault. It's always the fault of the people who said they could do the jobs.
@carleven3@Mr_Merrit_98@Grindz_TV You can put a gray blob on any photo and lie. You don't show torso, legs, arms, or anything. There could be absolutely nothing there.
@carleven3@Mr_Merrit_98@Grindz_TV I don't see a person being robbed in this photo. I see a grayed out blob. No evidence of a person being behind that blob.
@Mr_Merrit_98@carleven3@Grindz_TV Everything he's saying is a lie. Tamir Rice didn't rob anyone. His shooting is on video. The cop killed him instantly as soon as his car arrived. There was no time for Tamir to point a gun at the cop.
@MichaelKopisch1@DeGeorgeG@XelaSredna Do you know what "turnout" means? If you vote this year and don't vote in 2028, you didn't mysteriously disappear. You just didn't go vote.
@MichaelKopisch1@DeGeorgeG@XelaSredna No. They didn't run back to Trump. They were never with Trump. Trump's presidency caused a spike in voter turnout. When he wasn't president for 4 years, voter turnout reverted back to lower levels.
@MichaelKopisch1@DeGeorgeG@XelaSredna There is another logical explanation. People were motivated to vote Trump out, so turnout increased. Four years later, people had more apathy and reverted back to their non-voting ways. So turnout went back to the lower levels we've seen before.
@HyperHasDied@nay305910@Chris27085982 I bring up the past because the bloodlust I see on Twitter posts has similarities. Karmelo gets 35 years, and you people are disappointed that the punishment isn't more severe. Cases like this show how quickly you revert back to the lynch mob mentality of your ancestors.
