It is rare if ever that a woman has the power to harm a man directly.

Almost always the only power a woman has to harm a man comes indirectly, by appropriating the power of other men against him.

A lot of men conflate higher intelligence with greater argumentativeness, and conclude they dislike smart women because they dislike argumentative women. But the problem really is when a woman is far cleverer than she is wise, so misuses her intellect to be self-rationalising, difficult and self-sabotaging - to act indulgently - to be low truth preference.

These women are the argumentative types, and whilst their intellect amplifies their conceit, I do not believe it is the primary cause - it is merely a greater risk factor for unpleasantness that can be overcome and mitigated. I do not believe clever women are categorically doomed to be uncooperative and argumentative wives, but I do think their journey to “marriageable” looks a bit different. You must also bear in mind many of what we call educated women just went to a government indoctrination centre and rote memorised some things for a certificate. If they can’t engage in critical thinking I wouldn’t call them clever, merely credentialed, but I digress.

A woman who is clever, but also wise enough not to misuse that intellect and still carries herself with a certain degree of elegance, grace and thoughtfulness is a genuinely superior wife to any alternative. Clever women can serve their men in ways stupid ones cannot even conceive of, because they track more, understand deeper and empathise better.

I don’t see why being pleasant and feminine should be restricted to the idiotic woman, only that it takes cleverer women more effort to reach that balance. All women should aspire to this, although of course their results will vary in so much as their innate differences support the endeavour.

I also don’t see why clever women can’t be given some scope to show some tasteful attitude and edge, because if you do not cultivate the warrior spirit in a woman, she will be cowardly, treacherous and unreliable - everyone requires some measure of grit and steel to be respectable and trustworthy, and women are certainly no exception.
