For the last couple of months, I have been working on a video series that is inspired by The Pitch Meeting videos, only I try to do it for video games.
I like what I'm making. Maybe you will too, it is here: https://t.co/fM9c5rFIaH

@w1ngsoffiregirl They are sort of meant to be done with guides (or better yet, by talking with your friends, but who has them in 2026, lol) - a huge part of their game philosophy is the community aspect - there are blood stains that replay deaths and message system for a reason
@idonotexistelol@Dead_zero06 Yes and no. Parts prices are up. True. But imho it is priced liked that because people will pay for it. Old Valve would have sold it at 700 and write off loses ( if there are any) as marketing campaign for Steam. New Valve joins Sony and Nintendo - raising prices because they can
@xShephardx Steamdeck was an amazing product that brought PC games to a lot of people. I know personally few who own SD as their only gaming device.
That is one of the big reasons why GabenCube is dissapointing and why people react to it the way they did
I often wonder does @noobde know that he is responsible for possibly millions of 00's non english country kids loosing points in their english langugage tests.
It took me at least decade to unlearn writting combat with K
@Demoncoww Ok 4090, AMD card of that tier, whatever.
It was not the point; I was just saying for 1350 euros, if the person does not strive for TOP TIER visuals, it can be nice.
I feel ok in that price range
@AHumblePeon@ducholog@BarryDingleSak Honest question, I do not mean to start an argument, but why not just get a gaming laptop for that price?
It is even more portable and only downside might be that it is somewhat noisier (probably) and lacks CEC controls.
I do not understand. Do people not know that gaming laptops exist?
In this Steam Machine convo, I rarely see anyone talking about a laptop as a very valid alternative to the SM.
All they talk about are desktops.
Laptops are relatively flat, mobile, can be connected to a TV
@jstock37 No, this is one of 50/50 cases where LTT actualy are quite right. I think they are even to soft on GabeCube, as every PC person (me included) have a soft spot for Valve.
First impression: It is Stronghold. Feels somewhat closer to the classic. There are new improvements that might increase the depth of the strategy.
But this is a very early build, very rough and full of placeholders.
But overall - I am hopeful.
The first half of this year has been very good to me at least in one type of game I prefer: cinematic, shorter 3rd person adventures:
RE9
Pragmata
007: First Light
all three amazing
@nuhre_ I've been gaming on PC and building them since the mid 00's, BUT even in my high price country I can get a new gaming laptop with 5060 or 5070 (if lucky) for about the same price and since it is a laptop, it comes with a lot more convenience.
I see SM as a rare Valve L
