8 August 2025, H.E. Ambassador Muvangua conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the Government and people of the Republic of Ghana at the Embassy of Ghana in Addis Ababa, following the tragic loss of eight Ghanaian lives in a recent plane crash.

On 7 July, Ambassador Muvangua presented Namibia’s Instrument of Ratification of the Revised African Maritime Transport Charter to the African Union.

Namibia becomes the 14th of the 15 required countries to ratify the Charter, bringing it one step closer to entering into force.

He emphasized the urgent need for decisive action to protect African communities and economies.
