Dear academic paper holders, the world is increasingly less interested in the papers you have, no matter how many. Rather, it’s interested in what you can do, what you can add, and what kind of person you are. Emphasise that when seeking for a job (if you can’t create one). If your papers are reflected in what you can do and what you are as a person, the world may take them seriously. If not, the schooling you went through was a bit of a waste. The primary reason we go to school is not for papers. It’s for education. What therefore primarily matters is how educated one is, not which papers they carry. The papers may not necessarily reflect one’s education.
