Gilles Bertrand, EU Special Representative for Afghanistan, to discuss the region’s political and security landscape. We focused on terrorism and related threats, including those posed by terrorist groups such as TTP and BLA operating from Afghan territory. We reaffirmed the importance of coordinated engagement.
Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar @MIshaqDar50 held a bilateral meeting today with the U.S. Secretary of State, Marco Rubio @SecRubio in Washington D.C.
The two leaders expressed satisfaction over the positive momentum in the Pak-U.S. bilateral relations and exchanged views on the evolving regional and global situation.
Secretary Rubio acknowledged Pakistan's sincere diplomatic and mediatory efforts for peace and stability in the region and beyond.
The two sides agreed to strengthen the bilateral cooperation in all areas of mutual interest including trade and investment, security, and counter-terrorism.
They also agreed to advance Pak- U.S. partnership, propelled by high-level exchanges and shared interests in regional peace, security and prosperity: MoFA

Co-chaired a meeting of the Afghanistan–Central Asia Intergovernmental Coordination Cell (ACICC) with Hon. Mustafa Kamal, Federal Minister for Health, to address issues faced by students under the Allama Iqbal Scholarship Program and medical specialists training in Pakistan.
The meeting was attended by heads/senior representatives from PMDC, CPSP, HEC, and relevant government departments.
Met with Ms. Gemma Huggins, Australia’s Ambassador for Counter-Terrorism. We discussed the presence of terrorists from some 20 countries currently hosted in Afghanistan. These outfits pose a threat not only to the region but to the international community.
I thanked her for Australia's recent decision to declare BLA as a terrorist organizations.
Chaired a meeting of the Afghanistan–Central Asia Intergovernmental Coordination Cell (ACICC) with all stakeholders. Reviewed regional coordination, shared priorities, and next steps.
Key focus areas: Inclusion of Tajikistan & Uzbekistan in the Quadrilateral Transit Trade Agreement (QTTA) between Pakistan, China, Kazakhstan & Kyrgyzstan.
Also discussed: Enhancing air connectivity between Pakistan and Tajikistan, and facilitation of visas for Tajik businessmen.
As trusted harbingers of international harmony, diplomats are the architects of peace, entrusted with navigating the delicate complexities of international relations through the patient craft of dialogue, empathy, and understanding.

Had a productive discussion on regional developments, with a focus on terrorism and international terrorist groups, security, and cross-border terrorist attacks. We agreed that the terror groups are not only a threat for Pakistan and the region but for the countries beyond the region.
And do you have anything to do with it. It’s the diplomacy that matters and Pakistan is ruling. Relax and remember Intruders are not allowed in Pakistan’s Internal Affairs, let us deal with it.
