Today's science experiment was about colour mixing. We placed skittles around the edge of a plate in a circle shape and poured some warm water in the middle of the circle until it reached the sweets. Look at these amazing photos to see what happened.

🥔 We are growing Lady Christl and Charlotte potatoes. We started a process called chitting which prepares the potatoes. We then transferred them to a black box container. Watch this space....🥔

🦋We have given our butterflies sugar water & oranges. They will take sips from it and get the boost it needs to take flight. The glucose in nectar and fruit give butterflies their energy.🦋

🦋Look, our caterpillars have metamorphosed into butterflies! The red liquid you see is called meconium this is the leftover part of the caterpillar that was not needed to make the butterfly.🦋

🐛 Our caterpillars have built cocoons around themselves as a protective structure. Inside they pupate and metamorphose into their adult winged form!🐛

🐶Hi everyone, meet Gordan our Therapy dog. He is a New Zealand Hunterway crossed with a Collie. He was born 18th December 2019! He has been chosen because of his good-natured, gentle temperament. He loves long walks, playing and cuddles.🐶 @PentrebanePrm

We have been learning about celebrations from around the World. A few weeks ago we focused on Ramadan & last week we looked at Eid. We made some delicious treats & had some lovely food.
