they are dangerous or bad but because they look, love and live different than you & the fact that he gets to hate them out loud makes you feel so comfortable hating them inside.

“Hold up. Let me get this right.
You forgive him
You hold space and grace in your heart
For the things he says and the things he does and the person he is.
There isn’t a sound bite or a testimony that can come out that would make you change the permission
and in your community at your kids soccer games or in your Walmart or in your churches

@ruthbenghiat It was Church of Christ church-sounds like it’s nondenominational now? I remember 15 years ago this church stopped participating in Room at the Inn, ministry to house unhoused people one night a week because Catholics were in the ministry & they don’t think Catholics =Christian
We got to love her for over 14 years; longer than any dog we have ever gotten to love. She will always be our little girl. I will always remember that she left us during an eclipse when the light changed for a few hours. Our light will forever be changed.
As the moon covered the sun today, our precious Lucy left us.
She was the cutest little thing the first time we saw her. Half Boxer, half Boston Terrier she looked like a puppy her whole life. A miniature boxer with a buggy face! She was not as photogenic as some dogs. 1/4
She grew up quickly and became the sweetest dog; my shotgun baby with her paw on me at all times. Most of all, she was the soul dog to John. He adored her the most! He would have given her his kidney I think. He always loved our dogs but da Lulu was his girl! 3/4
