If Giannis Antetokounmpo is traded, is it the biggest trade of all time?

Personally looking at the teams he could go too (Miami/Boston as favourites) I feel like they might be better teams but doesn’t make them championship contenders.

Miami would be cool but I just can’t see them winning it all even after acquiring a player of his calibre. A team of Giannis, Bam, Wiggins, Powell and Mitchel with an ok bench is a 5 seed a 50 win team at best.

Boston on the other hand would, but giving up Jaylen Brown could be detrimental to the franchise, and taking in another big contract would surely dampen their chances in the Center market, which should be a priority.

Whatever happens we all need this trade to happen as soon as possible!!

Mock Trade Idea:

Los Angeles Lakers receive: Daniel Gafford

Dallas Mavericks receive: Jarred Vanderbilt, Dalon Knecht, 2026 first-round pick (25th)

Gafford would be reunited in LA with Luka Doncic giving the Lakers a Center they have been searching for.

The Mavericks take on Vanderbilt’s contract and add some shooting with Knecht. Dallas will own two first round picks in this years draft to add to their young core built around Cooper Flagg.
