ADC Leadership: Let Facts Prevail Over Fiction

The ongoing attempts to misinterpret the Court of Appeal’s directive on status quo ante bellum in the leadership matter of the African Democratic Congress must be firmly resisted.

Let the facts be clear: Ralph Nwosu and Nafiu Bala Gombe had resigned their positions and duly notified the Independent National Electoral Commission before the events that led to the present dispute. They cannot, by any stretch of logic or law, constitute the “status quo” before the conflict.

Any narrative suggesting otherwise is not only misleading but a deliberate attempt to distort both facts and law.

As a party founded on democratic ideals, we must resist the urge to manufacture confusion where clarity already exists.

The leadership structure under David Mark predates the dispute and remains the logical reference point in understanding the court’s directive.

I urge all members and stakeholders to remain vigilant, law-abiding, and committed to the unity and progress of our party. The strength of the ADC lies not in propaganda, but in truth, order, and respect for due process.
