Today, I spent a day with an amazing group of #CFRs. They had organised it. I just wrote some training, turned up and delivered it. They gave me this! I feel so privileged to work with ambulance service volunteers. @Secamb_CRT@SECAmbulance
๐โฉ๐Perfect timing for #HeartMonth , our @TTW_CFR team teamed up with local video production company @Digitom to produce a powerful new short film highlighting the importance of bystander CPR.
Would you know what to do? Watch here:

@jackgkennedy Our CFRs got them this year. I couldn't belive they didn't have them until now!
Such an under and misused piece of kit.
Thank you for the reminders.
@jackgkennedy I just don't understand why you'd need this.
By introducing an extra thing into the mix you're introducing confusion and things to fail.
If the inline filter dislodges would you notice, or are you going to have to dismantle the sets and reconnect to find the issue?
15 more people trained in CPR at Eynsford Train Station today. Unfortunately we cpuldntaccess the hall we were expecting.
Only some confused people who were waiting for the train to London while I taught in the shelter ๐

Today was spent getting CFRs onboarded to the Omnicell. Initially it felt a bit underhwelming as I had lots of empty slots, then one of my amazing team leaders appeared with this present for me that she'd made.

Today is International Volunteer Day.
I have the honour to work with dedicated volunteers from @SECAmbulance with @Secamb_CRT. Every day their dedication makes me proud and inspires me to work harder to support them.

I've had a great time with a youth group this evening teaching 60+ kids CPR, recovery position and choking.
I would have really struggled if I didn't have 2 of my amazing volunteers with me from @TTW_CFR team.

@jackgkennedy Mentoring is not for everyone.
My advice recently to my trust was to make education teams on station. These would be filled with staff who wanted to teach and would go to teach at uni/college as part of their shift pattern. It might give the diversin work needed to stop burnout.
