So I finally made it to #Carriacou and just over 3 weeks on from #HurricaneBeryl the scenes across the island are devastating! 🇬🇩
Whole homes destroyed, some flattened with only a sofa left.
Respected businesses wiped clean from the island. 💔

- Major relief efforts are continuing across the #Caribbean with major damage reported in parts of #Barbados 🇧🇧
- Southern parishes in #Jamaica 🇯🇲 are also reported to have extensive damage
- Northern parishes in mainland #Grenada 🇬🇩 also require help to return back to normal.
I spoke to my nan the Saturday before the hurricane and she said she was SO happy to be back in Carriacou after being stuck in the UK for months after an operation and now she has to leave again

Finally heard from my nan and tanty, they're okay 🙏🏽Whilst her house is thankfully mostly intact shes lost everything upstairs and still hasn't recieved any help
