Do we really have a working Government or are we inside a Block Panchayat?
After Japan battled the Netherlands to a 2-2 draw, the Japanese fans stayed behind and cleaned up every single piece of trash from their section at Dallas Stadium after the game.
Elon just created 4,400 millionaires in a single day.
400 of them are now worth over $100 million.
These aren't VCs. They're SpaceX employees, and the list includes welders, technicians, and cafeteria staff, because for two decades the company paid every level of the workforce in stock instead of higher salaries.
Juan Hernandez immigrated from Mexico and took a $28 an hour contractor welding job in 2015. He says he didn't even know what SpaceX was. The company gave him a $10,000 equity grant and let him buy more shares through payroll deductions. That stake is now worth $880,000.
Trevor Hise's parents wanted him to take a stable job at General Electric. He picked SpaceX instead, stayed 12 years, and accumulated over 100,000 shares. At the $135 listing price that's $13.5 million. He's 37 and semiretired. His words: "The magnitude of this has been ridiculous."
The most telling detail came before the listing. Over 100 employees quietly banded together and negotiated a group wealth management deal covering up to $5 billion, because none of them had ever needed a wealth manager before.
Software IPOs have minted millionaires for 30 years. This is the first one where the money went to the factory floor.
While coming from my Norway trip ,
At Schiphol Airport I noticed citizens of the US, Canada, EU countries, Japan, South Korea, Singapore and even Malaysia walking straight through automated eGates.
No queues. No officer. No questions.
India was missing from that list.
We stood at least an hour before our turn came to see the officer.
It was a small reminder that GDP headlines and geopolitical chest-thumping are one thing.
Global trust in a country’s documents, institutions and migration profile is another.
A passport is not just a travel document.
It is a report card of how much the world trusts the systems behind it.
For me, this is a pivotal moment in my science communication career, from India perspective.
Probably the first time, a major national media invited me to write an fact-based piece on a completely rubbish alternative medicine system that enjoys government protection - Homeopathy.
Please make this your must read of the day. I dissect every common nonsensical claim from the homeopathy community and bury age-old myths associated with this 200-plus year old obsolete pre-science artefact that still enjoys an undeserving place in Indian healthcare and which also destroys many young careers.
Well done and thank you Indian Express and Ms. Rinku Ghosh, the lead on health, for this! I really welcome this change! No one should be afraid of reporting facts about health misinformation even if it is government supported or promoted. This is the people's right.

Homeopathy survives for reasons that have little to do with effective healthcare.

This is the silent part that people wouldn't know.
Behind closed doors inside a medical conference, a large group of clinicians and researchers giving a standing ovation to another group of clinicians and researchers who found a way to increase survival in patients suffering from one of the, if not the, worst cancer in humans.
Metastatic pancreatic cancer.
They'll do this and then be on their way to see their patients the next day as if nothing happened.
And then work on something new to better what they did in this room.
That is how medical science works.
Value it and value its practitioners.
That is absolutely one of the biggest upsets in all of tennis history. The way it unfolded only adds to it all. Jannik Sinner out in the second round of the French Open is unfathomable and yet, here we are.
I am a CBSE Class 12 student.
After receiving unexpectedly low marks in Physics, we applied for photocopies of my answer sheets through the CBSE reevaluation process.
Today we received the copies.
And I am shattered because the Physics answer sheet uploaded by CBSE is not mine
He skipped placements at IIT Madras for 2 consecutive days. On the third day, he took a flight back to Mangalore just to avoid being forced by his family to attend placements. His desire to build an aircraft company was so intense that it made him act irrationally in front of his family.
He then started building his aircraft company from Bengaluru. When he had barely Rs 20,000 in hand, he still hired an intern, promising a stipend of Rs 7,000. On one of the days when he could not make it back to his PG on time, he spent the night at the Majestic bus stand. All of this at the age of 23!
That is the story of @shreepoorna365, founder of Arctus Aerospace, a company building unmanned aerial vehicles that can fly up to 45,000 feet and capture imagery for a wide range of use cases.

In case anyone is still not aware, this is the type of harassment we are putting our kids under just before their important exams.
This might be from some show but this is exactly how it is done. Some years ago, they even had instructions about undergarments.
This is stupidity of highest order if they cannot anyway stop the paper leaks. The adult responsibility is being transferred on teenagers.
No motivation, no exam pe charcha, no premanand ji maharaj, nothing will help if you cannot fix the system. Then you want these kids to stay in India & work with worst type of Govt hospitals setups.
This is becoming a madhouse as we speak. Someday your own kid will face this. NEET paper leak must be set as an example.
KHAN SIR TORE INTO NTA OVER NEET PAPER LEAK 🔥
NTA says registration fee won’t be taken again. Are you doing students a favour?
What about students who travelled hundreds of kilometres, slept at stations, and spent money they barely had?
What about girls whose families may not allow a second chance after one failed attempt?
NTA thinks re-exam fixes everything.
Khan Sir explained the real cost.
