With Rob Manfred stating earlier that the universal DH has been agreed upon, Logan Webb has officially hit the final home run by a primary pitcher in Major League Baseball history!
In his final year on the Hall of Fame ballot, Barry Bonds ended up at 66 percent. One of the best players in baseball history won't be in a museum about baseball.
It’s a sad day for the Baseball Hall of Fame Museum when the best players of their era including Bonds, Clemens, Sosa & Schilling don’t make it. I get the character clause…but there are multiple players that used PED’s that are in the Hall…maybe we should revisit the clause
So many current and ex players tweeting about Barry Bonds being a Hall of Famer. It’s recognized within the game. He had 494 HR and 1,405 RBI prior to the year 2000, which is when he supposedly began using PEDs. You can’t tell the story of baseball without Barry Bonds.
Hey y’all! I figured I’d give y’all a statement since it’s that time of the year again. My family and I put the HOF in the rear view mirror ten years ago. I didn’t play baseball to get into the HOF. I played to make a generational difference in the lives of my family. (Thread)
If I’m Barry Bonds, I’m not sweating being excluded from the Hall of Fame at all. There are hundreds of baseball Hall of Famers. There is only one GOAT. One Home Run King. And it’s him.
