I am today proposing legislation to Parliament to prohibit quantitative easing without the express consent of democratically elected MPs.

QE is essentially the state printing money, billions and billions, to bail itself out - devaluing all of our earnings and savings in the process.

If you insert vast amounts of new cash into the system, what does that do to existing funds? It all becomes worth less. Inflation, and lots of it.

QE has now become a mainstream tool to avoid the Darwinian reality of capitalism.

I want the state to live within its means, just as the rest of us are forced to do so.

It raises money through tax, it can then spend that money. It should not be permitted to print mountains of cash to fund unaffordable policies - lockdown is the primary example of that.

Let's have a state that is as accountable to its people, as the people are to the state.

Why is the convention to refer to the rape of children in Britain as ‘grooming’? Grooming is what you do to improve the appearance of your horse or dog.

We should not use a euphemism to describe the most vile and evil acts because it normalizes them, and allows one to think they are acceptable in society.

Words matter. We need to call out evil in the starkest possible terms and take every necessary step to rid the world of it.

Let’s not talk about grooming. These are pedophiles gang raping young girls. We need to understand this viscerally so it tears at our humanity and causes us all to lose sleep. Pretend it is your daughter. That will motivate us all to act.

This is the brutal reality of life for women under the Islamic Republic in Iran. A woman in Tehran sent me this photo of her scarred back, flogged for the “crime” of showing her hair. Yet, she refuses to be silenced.

Holding a Woman, Life, Freedom slogan, she took this photo as a powerful act of defiance, declaring:
“The morality police arrested me for resisting their van. My ‘crime’ was unveiling. After months of court hearings, I was sentenced to 74 lashes. The cleric overseeing the punishment stood there to ensure it was carried out. I won’t give up my fight against this brutal regime, but we are fed up with living as prisoners in our own homeland.”

Her scars tell the story of oppression, but her courage speaks of a revolution.

This is a barbaric law, this is terrorism. How is this different from ISIS?
