Amherst Police are assisting RCMP in the area of West Victoria Street in an ongoing operation. There is no anticipated risk to the public at this time. Please avoid the area as police deal with the situation.

A 30-year-old male has been taken into custody in regards to break and enters that occurred on November 12th, 2024 in the Queen Street/Albion Street Area.
