Another inspirational and thought provoking Yorkshire AMHP Conference, thanks to all the speakers, so much to digest, discuss and put into practice, thanks to @Consultancy_HS @Lads_Like_Us@queerfutures_2
@AmhpLeadsNet Deeply saddened, my thoughts are with his family and friends, cannot imagine their pain. I had the pleasure of meeting him once and what a lovely man of generous heart and a passion for MHSW and AMHP’s and made a lasting impact, particularly reminding us all to slow down
@socialworkaward@HumberNHSFT@Hullccnews Ok so I’m a little bit chuffed but mainly proud of all the amazing AMHP’s I work with and know doing an incredibly challenging job in very difficult times. I accept this on tour behalf xx
The GOLD AWARD WINNER for Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP) of the Year is…

@nuwandiss@asifamhp @CheneyChristina @AmhpLeadsNet Crisis Care concordat well attended here and there is a collective will to improve partnership working. All credit to our Ops Manager who has ensured this group functions well and has clear action planning/work streams. RCRP wouldn’t have worked without that.
@trewvs I don’t know what that means, I suppose the meaning of the word is ‘to participate’ but I only want to participate in things I like, think useful, worthy of my time. We need to do better.
Does anyone usually say ‘I tried to engage with (insert persons name)’ or I went to see (person) and ‘they didn’t engage’. No, you don’t, so stop saying it just because you work in mental health. Talk, visit, listen, E.g. tried to ring but no answer. Language is so important.
This looks great. Any Leaders, have a look and get signed up. Webinar #6 - The 9 Levers you need to develop to succeed as an Anti Racism leader https://t.co/sJrN1jKhZZ
@Release_drugs@PeteKrykant_OPC@LeftFootFwd Shocking statistics. We heard this from Darren Hill @Dazpower at the Yorkshire AMHP Conference yesterday, shocking statistics, the decimation of community mental health & addiction service provision is also shocking…
What a fantastic Yorkshire AMHP Conference! So great to see so many and leaving with a lot to reflect upon….especially S13(1) 🤔we heard from Professor Tom Burns, his research on CTO’s, Matt Simpson & John Mitchell on S13, Kate Karban got us thinking about social perspectives,
