@Momonga_Altosk i used to stream on youtube for i think 3(?) years and it was amazing for growth! i recently switched to twitch since i dont like doing traditional 1 topic per stream streams where every stream needs to be a meaningful coherent 2-3 hrs of continuity. i was build for chaos
all in all i havent had super bad collab experiences cuz i usually dont collab with people i dont know and i will stick by that rule for eternity bc i think ive avoided a lot of bad (probably) just by not jumping into public entertainment sessions with strangers
i once streamed with a person who made really condescending comments about entertaining my chat for me saying that i wasnt doing a good job at it. they also barely let me talk at all resulting them p much taking over my stream.
i didnt collab with Anyone for a while after that.
Do you guys have any bad collab experiences?
My worst one was a couple years ago with a VTuber. We were supposed to play Valorant together, but something came up on their end. They canceled less than an hour before we were scheduled to go live. I get that emergencies happen, so I reached out to rescheduleโฆ and got completely ghosted. A short while later, they even unfollowed me.
We had similar-sized audiences, so it wasnโt like I was a nobody to them. I was just left hanging with nothing. I hope they were okay, but it definitely left a sour taste in my mouth.
@aplejellie you can cycle thru the same 5 games to build up an audience for a certain niche and being entertaining is a learnable skill !! dont let that discourage u
@sakithefox_VT hallo!! ich streame grรถรtenteils auf englisch aber manchmal auch auf deutsch und bin immer down andere deutsche vtuber kennen zu lernen
on the topic of coming back to streaming - can anyone recommend a mic arm thats capable of holding up the rode nt1a without it falling down constantly?
